Key Herbal Benefits
How to Make Blueberry Butterfly Pea Tea with Marshmallow Root
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butterfly pea flower
- 1/2 cup marshmallow root
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- Honey or sweetener of choice to taste
- Ice cubes
Optional: Mint Leaves for Garnish, Lemon for color changing effect

Instructions:
- Cold Infuse the Tea: In a mason jar or pitcher, add the butterfly pea flowers and marshmallow root to 2 cups of cold water. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight (at least 8-10 hours). Note: I chose to infuse them in two separate containers so I could use them for different beverages. Either way will work, but marshmallow root is best used as a cold infusion.
- Strain & Prep the Glass: Strain the tea using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
- In a glass, muddle the fresh blueberries at the bottom to release their juices.
- Assemble & Serve: Pour the cold-infused tea over the muddled blueberries.
- Garnish with additional blueberries and optional fresh mint.
- Enjoy! Serve as is for a deep blue tea, or add a squeeze of lemon juice for a magical color change!
